spark plugs???

I have a 96 4.9 5 speed and wanted to get bosch 4 prong platinum plugs but the locals could'nt find them along with any other good plug what's the deal and what have any of you used?

spark plugs???

Stick with the Motorcraft plugs . I believe your engine calls for BSF 44C gapped between .042 to .046 .

Had great luck with the Autolite Plat plugs.... no complaints and last a long time too. Not the mention that they are cheap.

spark plugs???

I put in Splitfires, and have had no problems. I can't tell if they are worth the money, though. I got them from G.I. Joes (Portland, Or).
