Maybe you ought to hook up a coolant system pressure tester.

Pump the system full of pressure then look for the leak. Quick, easy and accurate.

Oh yea i forgot to say that my heater works very very good!!!! Didnt know if this helps....

I second that Eco...that's how I found my leak....cept I made my pressure tester....

What he should do is very carefully and methodically dry off the coolant with paper towels. Then with the engine cold, (more likely to leak when cold) pressure test the system like you guys suggest. He can rent a pressure tester for free at Autozone.
