Winter cover on 08

Has anyone bought or used the winter cover for the superdutys I have notice in this cold weather about 20 degrees out that it takes my truck about 15 mins to start putting out heat I do store it in a garage that maintains 45 degres wich is better a winter cover or suplamental heat

One came with my truck. I looked at all those straps and clips and threw it back into the truck. I will plug it in instead. One page of instructions looked like they were printed in China.

Must just be getting cranky.

Doesn't the 08 super duty have that new Rapid Heat system that gives almost instant heat? Is this an option or standard equip?

Rapid heat is a 250.00 option.

Someone else in the 7.3 forums said just to plug the block heater in 3 hours or so before you go to start it, and the engine will be warm right when you start it
