Adding XM to 2006 Explorer
I have a 2006 Explorer Limited with factory Audiophile 6 cd changer unit with AUX button. I want to add XM but want it hard wired to the system, not the type that does the FM modulation, like the XM Roady. What type systems have you guys added. Any info like wiring harness etc. required will be greatly appreciated

I bought the FM adapter with the XM name on it. It goes from the spk out on the XM and plugs directly into the antenna input on back of radio. You then plug in the regular radio antenna lead into it. I've drive up to NY/NJ area with this and it works great. No interference from other stations at all. I running it to 107.5FM. I couldn't do it just running from the Roady without lots of other station interference. Going over I-287 was horrible, now, no problem at all!
