I got about $900 into the 78 including purchase price. I am now thingking about putting a 351 in it or maybe beef up the 6 with a cam and some headers, I haven't decided yet. The motor in it now is turning out to be an oil burner so it needs something soon.

nice 53 motor is the wrong color but almost a carbon copy of mine except he has the right rear bumper. same wheels as im putting on too.

do you get the bargain hunter Colin?? from time to time i've seen good deals on a 302 or 351. might be a good start for looking.

What`s your fuel mileage like with the 6 Colin? If it`s great than I`d do a quick ring/bearings and a valve job. If not I`d go for a 302/351.

Its a cool classified magazine, my mom and dad get it all the time. There is all sorts of cool stuff in there.

When ever I look at that type of mag I see too many ads for garage sale stuff, everything from baby clothes to dish washers, beds, ect. Besides I like pictures too.

lol...i know...its not yet at the top of my list, but its quickly becomming a priority!!
