Guys I ran across an 04 King Ranch 350 with 44,000 miles now my truck is an 01 F250 thats long paid for. Do you think i should do the trade. Man i love my 7.3 i havent had one problem out of this truck it has 150,000 miles. Damn guys I been thinking bout this all damn week. The KR is so damn nice but im affraid of possible problems i've read about with the 6.0. They are bout 4wds any info would be nice. Thanks
you would be trading straight up? no cash involved? I might do it..... but we own several 6.0 psd's and it seems that if it makes it to 60k without issues its as good as any 7.3. Just my 2 cents
I say no, lets say they give you 14 for your truck if you are lucky, just think what you could do with your current (I am assuming reliable) truck with 14,000 dollars worth of upgrades, but you may be listening to possibly the cheapest person here (I am sure someone will chime in on that Claim)
I really like the KR ranch interior too man! If you really have your heart set on this truck, spend the $$$ for a car fax report. Find out what dealership it's from and get service history records, recall records, warranty, etc... Most dealerships will help you with that kinda stuff. Too bad it's Thanksgiving, nothing should be open.
yea man I go by tomorrow to talk to the sales guy again.bkcowboss man my wife said the same thing she was like your trucks paid for why get a payment..Man all i can say to her is I LOVE THE DAMN INTERIOR LOL hehehe Well guys we will know tomorrow

I hear you and there is that side of me to, shoot my wife drives a limited excursion, but somebody had to be the voice of reason. so that when you are at least your wife is not the only one that could be saying I told you so. Sounds like a sweet truck!
You know, there is a company that will do King ranch seats that you could buy for your exisiting truck. It would be another option and you would still have money left over for all those upgrades bkcowboss was talking about, plus having owned a 03 6.0l that was a POS, I would be leary of an 04....
Have had responses from a few folks who have bought from them, and they said the seats were high in quality. So with a few bucks you could make your look like a King Ranch!!
I have always liked the King Ranch stuff though... Good luck with it if you decide to purchase the 04!

I'm 100% on this train! If you really like the interior and that's what's got you jazzed over the '04, then buy the interior from an aftermarket source, or find a breaker that specializes in big trucks and get the interior from a wrecked SD. You'll spend WAAYYYY less than $14,000 even if you bought from the stealership!!
do you really want to give up the reliability of your 7.3 for an "iffy year" of the 6.0???
Guys OMG the truck was a POS man it looked good but it had been beat. The tranny had a delayed shift plus I just had a bad gut feelin. Man the longer I had the truck on road test the better mine seem to look to me. After I got back to the dealership I quickly handed the keys over. Man I damn near ran to my old truck lol. Guys I dont know what the hell I was thinking anyway thanks for all the advice guys. Im gonna drive that damn 7.3 till the damn wheels fall off. lol
