rough and low idle?
My 1987 EFI I 6 is idling rough and low about 600-800 sometimes seems like it almost will stall. I have new plugs,wires ,cap,rotor, and distributor (the enire assembly). I did not put a new module on the dist. when I installed it, but I did grease it with dielectric very well. At the time I thought the seventy dollars was not worth it for the new module? was I wrong not putting on the new module. I will try putting in some lucas injector cleaner. I have also put on new air filter and breather filter and pcv. Any suggestions on fixing this. I am thinking possibly timing or the module. Any help would be great.
P.S the tips on the new rear main seal were very helpful it does not leak a drop now.

Idle speed on Efi motors is controled by the air bypass valve. If it is just a low idle look at cleaning or replcaing it. If it is missing then look at fixing that. I don't understand where you put the dielectric grease. The only place I use that is on the boots of the spark plugs. I use heat sink compound/grease when I change the TFI modules. If you took the module off and put it backon without any grease you run the risk of ruining the Tfi module.
