Need ASAP

Today I took off mt speedometer cable from the transfer case, and long story short I ended up breaking the cable. So Now I am in need of one. I need it for a 1984 Ford F150 4x4 4 speed manual.

Id say about the only place other than a junkyard is going to be Ford Parts . Its about a $30 part . Does your truck have cruise control ? There are different cables for trucks with cruise .

Which part of the cable was broken , the outer casing or the cable itself ?

Just the cable broke.

I would imagine any auto parts store would have a replacement , Take your old one & they can cut to match the length of the original . I was thinking the outer casing had broke .
