What years will interchange ??? Beds
A friend of mine has a real straight bed he wants to get rid of. What year will interchange with my 88. He wasnt real sure what year his bed is but is gonna check. Just wondering what will fit on my 88 ??? Thanks

1980-1997 beds will interchange, including tail lights, and tail gates. 1987-97 beds have more rounded fender openings, and slightly differnt lights. 1980-86 have more square fender openings but I do know that the lights, tailgates, and hardware will interchange, F150-350.

I have a '92-94 bed on my '90 F150.. and '92 doors. Both fit fine.. but the bed is slightly wider that the one that came off... maybe 3/4" total. It's no enough to notice unless you look down the body from directly in front, the bed sticks out a hair on each side. Check out my gallery pics...

The back of bed is squared off more on 86 down truck . Light do fit but dont look well. Tailgates will work But the latches are different. Hey If it your truck having the right trashed bed or a nice bed and be off little. Go for the nice bed. 87 are all same.
