I am pretty sure my truck is burning lots of antifreeze. It is a 2003 CC LB SRW 4x4, 93k miles. I have most of the basic mods, and if it helps to diagnose I will post up the list. Basically whenever the truck is on, I see lots of white, light grey smoke. I added two gallons of mixed anti-freeze last night, and haven't checked the level today. There aren't any obvious leaks, no puddles or drips, there isn't any fluid squirting out in the engine bay. I have no loss of power. PLEASE help.
Could be a few things I know when i had a cracked fuel cup i had a ton of white smoke at start up, I also had power loss though. You dont by chance have fuel in your Degas Bottle do you? How long did it take to lose 2 gallons? Also a pressure test may be in order.
I am a noob, so what is the degas bottle? And I am not sure exactly how long it took to lose 2+ gallons of coolant. The smoke has only been happening since yesterday, but I also had to pull 15k pounds yesterday, so I am sure that didn't help. Could it be an injector sleeve, head gasket, or intake manifold gasket? If it is one or the other how do I go about diagnosing it?
Well it could be alot of things. The smoke could be unrelated to the antifreeze. If you never checked the antifreeze before and the just looked at it evaporation could be the cause. Or it could be the antifreeze is goinginto the engine.
So it smokes all the time, at idle, half throttle, full or just start up?
I am pretty sure it smokes all the time. I just can't tell for sure because I can't see my where my exhaust empties when I am driving it. If it is smoking while driving it isn't creating a huge cloud behind my truck. I do know that when I stop at a light or something it starts to accumulate around the truck, then I take off and it I can see it. So I am not 100% sure it is blowing while I am driving, I just assume it is due to how much comes out when i am stopped. Thanks for the help, keep it coming.

To rule out the cooling system you need to get the set up to pressurize the system....
