not normal for me
hey guys, i just got back from nearly 7 months over there, my 56 bbw has arrived and here in lies the delema, this is a real nice mostly original truck with a 292/3 speed o/d, i grabed a set of steel genie's for it and a disc conversion, but after driving it i'm thinking of leaving the truck as is appart from refitting a back bar and retrimming the seat, has any one got a scanned sales brochure showing the truck when they were new and what interior trim was an option?, a customer of mine is also restoring a 56 for a client and has been asked to make it as original as posible, can anyone guide me/him to where i may sorce imfo like assembly line paint blobs, correct engine detail colours, wheel colour etc etc.

Hey, Scrape, I think you may have better response if you reword the title to something along the way of " need help wuth orig int/colors", "need help w/56 int scheme" or something along those lines. I think you are smart to leave a goodtruck alone when it is a solid example. Sure sounds like a fine ride to me. Keep us posted with plenty of update pics.

Yea, sometimes things are just too clean to cut up. I'm glad you have the forethought to keep a nice truck stock.
