NO!

You absolutely CAN trust that label.

THAT STUFF is what the factory put in it, WHERE IS IT NOW?

You have a valid avenue here to REQUIRE satisfaction.

What are you going to do?

Eh?

Do you think I WOULD hesitate at all????

QUOTE: "HEY YOU! THIS ISN'T RIGHT!!!! Make it so.... My lawyer is on my cell."

If you were told it was a different unit during the sale AND IT WAS DOCUMENTED you can do nothing. But if it was not written in as such - (quote) "You have specific legal rights".

And now it's up to YOU.

*shruggezzz*

It's an equivalent unit, or it is not. If it is less, you have means to have the issue corrected.

What will you do?

I'm not going to let a fellow FTE'r stand there with their lip hanging out over a thing like this. I'm telling you you can get it done.

But the leg work is all yours, do you understand it?

You don't have to get ugly and nasty, but you do have to point out to the dealer and their service department that you sure as hell know the difference, and are not willing to be shorted.

A couple of tactful phone calls should handle it.

I guess I'm at a loss to understand this - the microwave in the unit NOW is a larger one with vented hood. It's actually a bigger/better one than what the factory put in. Why would I want to make a fuss?

I might also add we bought the unit way under list, got a good trade-in, and the dealer was really quick to resolve any issues. Such as the unit came from the factory without rear stabilizers. Literature said it was standard - dealer installed without hesitation. One of the promo pics showed barstools - dealer found them ....etc...etc....(The tv was removed, but we were told that up front. (Actually a blessing, we went with a flat screen and saved about 30 lbs).
Support from the factory so far has been good also. Only issues with the unit so far are all cosmetic/workmanship in nature with the exception of a boogered slideout awning. Hopefully we get the unt to a nearby service center after the holidays to get them resolved. Then I'll know how much of a fuss I have to kick up.

You already know how irrascible and garrulous I am.

It is strange indeed how lawful and yet OUTLAW a mix I am.

I guess that is what makes me a wolf.

Any chance?
