if its a key chain fob..gather the ones you have now..put key in the ignition.. turn to on no start then off 5 times (some trucks its 4 times..depends on the year) stopping in the on position..the doors will lock and un lock them selves..you need to lock and un luck the doors with all the fobs including the one that already worked..you have with in 20 seconds to do this..turn key off and you should be good to go..

I would post a link to the owner's manual with the isntructions on how to do it but this site will not let the link work.

Reproggaming your keyfobs
Here's a good site with instructions on how to reprogram many makes/models.
I found this site when searching for a replacement key fob for the one for my 96 bronco that has power door locks, but never got a key fob for it when I bought it.

Thanks! Looks like a nice site here with lots of info. Found it while googling on my lock cylinder which I think I'm gonna try and replace this weekend.....wish me luck!
(I just wished I had remembered that I had all CAPS on when I signed up, I wish I could change my user name to all small letters except the first one, bugs me to see it like that!)

thanks for the link..it will come in handy for the guy's without the owners manual..the name looks fine..but you can ask one of the mod's if there is a way to change it...good luck..Moderators: cookie88, ryaneverk2
