i think when i added my pic, the whole thing has to be below 300 characters.
when you save, that number includes the URL of the image, and the image tags. try to save your sig of just an image. once you do that, go back and add in a little of your text at a time. its like once it loaded the image, it didn't count it as 100 characters or whatever anymore.
again, guessing from memory, but i think thats how it works
