How much is too much??

Just wondering how hard it is on the motor to step on it and get full bost from a dead stop...like if i was racing. I have a bad habbit of doing this but i don't want to hurt the motor because i want it to last. This might be a dumb question but I would like to know.

Won't hurt the engine at all. What you will be doing is tasking the transmission. If you don't have any chip or tuner, your chances of hurting the transmission is much lower then if you were wringing out a bunch more power through the same stock torque converter.

The lowest RPM curve is the green 1600 line, but if you imagine the other lower RPM lines to the left of that, you'll see that it doesn't take much BP to drive the turbo into surge at lower RPM. This is why disconnecting the red line eats your turbo for lunch, and why the stock waste gate control shouldn't be messed with, unless you're in the market for a new turbo anyway.

Even though this surge when starting up too aggressively is a momentary condition, the wear and tear on the turbo bearing accumulates. It's not like being pregnant, you can have a little surge and not even realize it. It takes significant surge to make the noises that people report, and for sure this is the most damaging surge condition, but surge comes on gradually in the vicinity of these surge lines, and if you keep pushing it, then surge announces itself with the tell tale noises that indicate a higher level of more immediate damage...
You can find the details here...

The tranny will hold...same with the torque converter. it's all aftermarket and build to tow a heavier load then the truck will ever see. I also have the banks trans command on it. I just wanted to know how hard on the motor it is to accelerate like that. will it really hurt anything to do it every once in a while when temptation to race comes about??

Nope its designed to do that. It can run at full load at 3400RPM for its entire life and not care.
