Exhaust or Engine Louder when Cold

When I start my V-10 I let it warm up a bit the engine seems to make more noise in the exhaust or lower engine,when warmed up the noise is not as noticable.
It's got about 2800 miles on it just about to change the oil,when reading these Threads looks like 5w-20 motorcraft syntec with a mororcraft filter is my best bet.

It takes a bit for the oil to warm up. There is no damage occuring. Your choice for oil and filter is a good one.

All engines make more noise when cold. The engine has not expanded to it normal size and the cadalitic convert has not come up to 1200 degrees to burn the exhaust gases.
