ok i have 1993 f-150 4x4 302. no engine. i have all the wires still intact and ALL the parts. i just need help with what hooks to what and what goes where?
As far as I know (and if it's anything like the 351), there are no two connectors that are exactly the same. There are two connectors that just slide onto a stud, one for the oil pressure sending unit and one for something else... but if you get everything else connected, the wires are not long enough for you to connect them wrong.
Honestly, if you just stumble through it you should be alright. If you get lost, it would be better to post up a picture of the exact connector you have a question about.
Might want to label all the wires in the engine bay with numbers before you put the engine in, and connect them in order (1,2,3,4,5.....) and pull off the tags as you connect them. That way you know you don't forget any. Toward the end it can be hard to spot a loose one.
