Help
my buddy got robbed (we deliver pizza..). long story short they got his keys and he doesn't have a spare. his car is sitting in front of someone's house and we need to a way to get it in neutral to get it up on a trailer or a tow dolley. does anyone have any ideas? We got everything valuable out of it and took the battery out, so its relatively safe for now.. but its sitting in front of a stranger's house and as nice as they've been I'm sure they don't want his car there.
You can always get the lock cylinder popped out, which you nay have to do anyway to get new keys?

Assuming the parking brake is not on. Put a floor jack under the front end and crank it onto a tow dolly with a come-a-long. Just make sure if the jack slips it doesn't go through the engine or transmission pan.
I have used a come-a-long by myself to move a Taurus so I am sure a Focus will be easier using two people. Just make sure the CAL is secured to the truck in a good place (NOT the safety chain loop).
This is one reason I loved having a winch in the bed of my truck. You can drag almost anything onto a trailer without breaking a sweat.
