engine codes

Have a 92 F-150 with a 4.9L. Recently the check engine light came on. After reading the code,558, I replaced the EGR Valve Position Sensor and the EGR Control Solenoid. With KOEO, (Key On, Engine Off) I have the following codes yet; 332 and 558. The 558 code is what started the replacement of parts. The 332 is the new one. Do I need to replace the EGR Valve? I am open to suggestions. The truck is running as well as ever, it is just getting real annoying to see that check engine light. The vaccum lines are intact and the wiring all looks good. Thanks.

after replacing any electrical part you need to disconnect the battery to reset the computer. this will clear any codes that are stored. after clearing the codes you should drive the truck through a normal driving cycle(start with a cold engine and drive it 5-10 miles to heat it up to normal operating temp, and them turn it off) after doing this pull the codes again and any code that you get now will be new.

after clearing the codes if you still get the same repeating codes, then there is a problem somewhere in that particular system.

After each electrical part I cleared the codes and then unhooked the battery, no luck. Thanks though

code 332 is low flow through the EGR. Did you disconnect the vacuum advance to the EGR valve? That would give you this code. If not check the lines, you may have a leak somewhere.
