Hey fella's
I have a few questions regarding a gear swap i am interested in doing.
I have a 76 F-250 camper special with 390 And 4 sp. I am not sure what Tranny I have or What axle I have. I think I have 4.10's.
My first question is, with that info can anyone tell me what tranny i have assuming its all original. How low of gears can i go for highway mileage.
I was thinking 3.55ish or can i go even higher like 3.08 ish.
I m not sure which axle i have but it is 8 lug if that helps. how hard is a ring and pinion swap? Should i pay soemone to do it?
