its the fuel filter bowl/water sep. its in the middle of the valley of the motor and has a black lid. on the passenger side is a yellow lever to drain it. dont do it on your driveway. the truck may need to be bumped over to to get the fuel/water to drain. once it does start DRAINING should take 20 seconds or so. close lever and start truck good to go.

Move the lever to the left fender. No seperate filter. The fuel filter housing is also a water separator.
