Starting out project
My first posts regarding my project.... I acquired a 1956 Ford F-350 with a 292 v-8, and 4syn transmission about 4 years ago. the dash is in MINT condition, gauges need work and the seats are gone. I have the seat springs but i don't know whether to stick with the stock or go to new ones. It's a little rusty. I am also taking the cab and doghouse and dropping it on a 73 Ford f-250. it has a 360 BB with a heavy c-6. will the 56 cab be able to drop onto the 73 or will i have to modify it radically for it to fit? i know i will have to change the mounts already. i have to do some repair to the firewall and cab corners (the obvious stuff ) . for my gauges shoud i go to round dials or try to get a rebuilt stock? i am on a limited budget so i want to keep it as simple as possible but make it look good.... what's your take on it?
