Only the 6 bangers had C4's.
What your F100 has is the MX Cruiseomatic.
The trans pan on the C4's look similar to the COM pan.
C4's have 11 pan bolts, MX COM's have 14.
btw: All Ford engines were painted black thru 1967.
Ford Corporate Blue was not used till 1968.
1965/67 F Series 352's are painted BLACK with GOLD valve covers, Low gloss black paint was used for the aircleaner, oil caps, dipstick and tube. Exhaust manifolds were Sally Rand.

Well it's final..and she probably got half as usual... seems to turn a little stiff in the area where we started out at, but that was to be expected. If possible tomorrow it will be spun around and attached to tehe engine stand. Gotta get a path cleared/smoothed and move the project boat so it can be routed beside the house back to the $1000,000.00 lean to.

rogue40; did it work on the fishies?
I can see it now, a big rainbow oil slick when the fly lands.
I have a Sage rod and reel but i'm a newbie and have only
caught oak, pine, redwood trees, the wife, my hat and a few
surface stumps in the streams. It looks so cool when someone
that knows what they're doing catching fish, hell I feed them with bait.

Bobby, if you were to separate the tranny from the engine without removing the torque converter bolts, the TC would remain on the flexplate, the tranny would still slide off the torque converter. You would still have to remove the torque converter to remove the flexplate to mount the engine.
You NEVER want to try reassembling with the TC attached to the flexplate. Getting the TC seated in the tranny first eliminates damage to the tranny.
