97 F150 Lariat Front End Problems
I have recently purchased a 97 F150 Lariat 4X4 4.6L. I love the truck but I have noticed a few things with the front end.
1. When slowing dowing to a stop, the front end gives a wobbly feeling. The tires have less than 10K on them and are factory spec. A few of the tires are missing the balance weights.
2. When turning left, a noise can be heard like "Clunk, Clunk".
3. When accelerating from a stop, an intermittent squeak can be heard up to 40mph. I suspect this is from the breaks - (redone)?
Anyone have any ideas what this could be? What would be a good place to take the truck besides the dealership? I want to make sure it is major before I take it in there. I live in the Chicagoland area.
Thanks,
