Grinding brake noise
Okay so my buddy drove my truck as a favor to me and I get it back and the brakes are making this horrible grinding sound the last 10feet or so of a stop. I replaced the brakes about 15k ago and personally go VERY easy on brakes. My first set last to 75k and the pads weren't even shot. I pulled off one wheel to do a quick look but because I'm leaving for California today I didn't get into pulling off the caliper and everything. My question is, what would one Panick stop (braking as hard as possible) damage? Pads are my first thought since its not like there is any pulsing from a warped rotor when I stop.
