300 general question
Scenario. Have a 300 (I believe) that came out of 66 F-100 (not original motor) and am putting in 60 F-100 that had a froze up 223. Am fabbing motor mounts and rear crossmember as was a 3 to 4 spd swap.
My question to all the knowledegable gurus on here (bow) Where are ID numbers on engine? Haven't really looked as have been busy with the rest of the project, but am going to go get all new electrics for motor and am going to need the year. Also where can I decode this number and get specs for timing etc for it, as I just want to bulletproof, not hot rod it. This is going to be my winter daily driver/ parts chaser.
