I need a heater cord, is there any place besides the dealership to purchase one? I hear they are about $120

International or Navistar

I called my local International dealer and used that part number and came up empty. Is there an International part number?

thanks for any assistance, i've been meaning to get this done before it gets colder here.

That is the IH part# unless it has changed.

The cord that you buy from the International dealer is not OEM but is correct for the trucks and is made by Zero Start (Phillips and Temro Industries). It is just the cord and does not have the plastic wire loom and clips/hangers. Just needs to be zip tied into place.

The part number that blackhat620 gave is one that many have used to purchase the cord from International. Although that is the part number for a 7.3L replacement heater "element", so I am not sure how that works out. If they have it, the part number should be Z3600008.

Powerstrokeshop.com also carries this cord for under $16.00...

Part Number PSM/3600008
