My name's Bryce and I'm a GM Commercial salesman with a dealership in Colorado. I've just gotten licensed to sell Ford and Dodge (making me the only Big Three salesman in the state!) and I just sold an E-150. It's an open rear end with 3.55 gears (code X29) and my customer wants to add a locker. 4 Wheel Parts needs to know what kind of an axle it is before quoting me. Unfortunately, the van is in Kansas so I can't just crawl under and look. None of the Ford salesmen know and one of the Ford parts guys said the word 'Dana' came up in a search. I was thinking Ford 8.8" until being told that it's more likely a 10.5" or a Dana 80. So does anybody have any clue? Maybe someone who could do me the favor of running a search on these forums.
