Today I returned from the two-year-long dark chasm that was D*dge ownership, with the purchase of a 2001 F-150. I am proud to once again call myself a "Ford Guy!"
Here are the specs: 2001 F-150, XLT, Reg. Cab, Short Bed, 4x4 (stick, not the switch), 5.4L, Auto, Offroad pkg, Dark Green & Tan. At $16,995 with 18,000 miles I couldn't pass it up.
The axle code is "H9," which the salesman says is a limited slip with 3:55 ratio. Does anyone know if this is correct? I'm sure there will be many more questions to come as I get more familiar with my new ride. Any advice on potential problem areas would be much appreciated.
