Storm, you are almost as bad as I am. I was going to say keep the truck you have, but after seeing those pics, that is one ncie truck. I think it's a win win.
Storm freagin just do it, bc i know right now ita all you can think about and you cant pluck the hair till you've done it, im the same got rid of a perfectly good 2004 f-250 for my 2005 king ranch just bc it was prettier. and your hood, stereo, and tool box etc can be swapped to this one. And have better everything else.
I wasn't a fan of HD's until I saw this one.. Was like damn.. Black interior is sexy...
I keep saying that there is a reason that I traded in a perfectly good '05 Lariat F-250 (CC, SB, 4x4) for my '06 Harley-Davidson edition F-250. I was kind of lukewarm on the "wet on wet painted flames" & the grey stripe on the seats, but even those have really grown on me.
In hindsight, I only have two regrets: 1.) I should have ordered it as an F-350 (for the increased payload & towing, as I have ZERO intentions of ever getting rid of this truck...think of it as future-proofing), and 2.) I should have gotten skid plates (not that it will ever see any kind of vigorous off-highway use, but more of a slight insurance policy against road hazard).
As for the question of Storm being crazy...without a doubt. You just aren't crazy for debating on swapping trucks.
Well I'm thinking that I may not.. I put a lot of money, a lot of work and a lot of heart into mine.. I got one helluva 04 block that is tough as hell.. I've been running hot tunes without Studs and no problems.. I was thinking I have black/gray paint.. Gray interior.. Pull the carpet, put black OEM in, then have this guy in Austin reskin my seats two-tone.. Gray strip in the middle and black on the outsides.. Then throw in the Gray/Black 08 Console.. All that gray inside on the plastic, seats, etc it would all match and look really wicked.. I already got a good deal on Upfitters that I can put in with the panel.. I just hate to loose 12 grand and start all over on mods.. Plus I can switch to the 05 Harley lights for the blackout look.. Would cost helluva lot less..
Oh Come on just do it!!!! I got rid of a 2004 Cadillac Escalade EXT with a custom 12" lift 37" nittos 22" Custom Cadillac Wheels Full Audio Video system and a $8500 PainJob for my 06 King Ranch. I had Close to $87000 in my Escalade and sold it just my 06 kingranch without blinking an eye. I bought the escalade when i traded in my other custom truck that I built. Building it is most of the fun! Do it the harleys are NICE!!!!! Good Luck in whatever you choose
Storm what is the build date on your truck? I checked mine yesterday Mine is 4/04. That makes it a 03 motor. It hasn't had any major problems yet. I think I am about to have injector problems. I have a slight miss when ideling after i run it for a while. I don't have any check engine lights on yet. I plan on getting it checked out when I get home.

Does this engine have the 03 turbo on it?
Mines 10/04.. Has a late 04 block, not pre 04 block Reason why I hate to get rid of it.. LOL
I was looking at your current truck Storm, I can see why its hard to make a decision.
Exactly.. me and my bestfriend have put countless hours this year into it.. Just makes no sense to get rid of it now.. Plus it doesn't justify the fact I don't like Harley Bikes.. I think the interior color/headlights is whats catching me.. It's cheaper to just change mine out then start all over with that..
