Sensor vanished into thin air

Ok, I was replacing my EBP tube and was finishing up. I went to screw the sensor back in and my butter fingers dropped it. Now it seems to have vanished into thin air. I figured while I take a break from looking for it (close to 2 hours now) maybe someone might have a suggestion of where it might have gotten hung up at that I haven't searched yet.

in the radiator shroud. grab a flashlight and look from the bottom, you can pull the plastic cover on the top (the cover between grill and radiator).to make it easyer.i bet you its there.

Check behind the water pump pulley, that's where mine went.

Well, took off the radiator shroud, not there, not behind the pulley. I'm giving up for the night and will try again tomorrow. Will the truck run without that sensor (in case I can't find a ride to get a new one)?

It's a long shot but if you're in Texas and close to me I have an extra sensor that you can have.
