Need some quick help with EGT probe
I went to install the threaded fitting in my manifold for my egt probe but the bit i borrowed from a buddy created an oversized hole! the tap won't cut threads in the hole and the fitting just slides right through. can i JB weld that %$@#*^ into place and have it work the same or should i waste another week waiting on a new fitting to get in? i'm going on a trip this weekend and need the truck! help por favor!

About the only thing you can do is to drill out to the next size NPT (which would be 1/4) and then adapt it back down to the 1/8 NPT...or else find a good welder. JB weld won't take the heat or pressure. Those tend to be 12-1300 degrees and up to 50 PSI at times!!
