water temp gauge install
Sorry for the noob question, but search didnt show me anything. Anyways from what I have been reading you shouldnt put an aftermarket gauge in the stock gauges place on the block. Is this true? I had a friend tell me I could mount the probe in the intake manifold(its and edelbrock) would that work? Its a 351m and I have mechanical gauges, thanks

Why couldn't you put it in the stock place? The only thing you loose is the useage of the stock guage.
As for me, I drilled and tapped the water neck on my 81. Thus I have a stock guage and an aftermarket guage and thus everyone is happy.
