I had the dealer pull my Ford alarm w/remote start off of my 07 Expy and put it on my F150 when I got it. They said they had to do a little programing but it works great.

so what is your actual question about them??? other than, yes, there have been people that installed them on their own.

It doesn't matter if it's the Ford system or other aftermarket systems, they all have the same wires to hook up.

The Ford systems are made by Code Alarm. You can find the installation instructions on this website: www.gemsen.com/ford
