Talking starting this weekend

I hope to start the engine , 472 Cadillac, in my 56 for the first time this Saturday.Since I have no way of hauling the truck myself , I'm taking a pattern to the local muffler shop to get the front pipes bent. After I get the front pipes and mufflers on then I will drive it to the shop and get tailpipes installed.I made patterns for the front pipes from 2" plastic pipe I bought at Home Depot.I miss the muffler shop that was about 2 miles from my house . Once I got out of my driveway I could coast all the way to the shop. Unfortunatley, for me , the guy got a full-time job with NASCAR and closed up his shop. Now it's about 5 miles to the nearest shop.
