I have a question. Ive been looking at lower plenums for quite some time now. And im wondering if this lower plenum will work with my upper. The lower one is an edelbrock.
Why not just save the money and get tthe matching upper, The ports will be better
lined up and it will probably look better too!! Get a phenolic spacer while you are at it.
Save up and buy the set from Edelbrock and a throttle body from BBK. Summit Racing has the Edelbrock Performer EFI available for the '88-'96 F150/F250/Bronco 5.0L (EDL3841) and the 5.8L (EDL3881). BBK has a larger than stock throttle body available for our trucks.

It would be cheaper, and flow much better with an Eddy Performer EFI intakes for the mustang (NOT the ones advertised for the trucks). A single blade TB and an egr plate would also need to be purchased (about $150 for both).
The upper plenum can be flip flopped to have your TB on the drivers side.
Professional Products and Typhoon make exact replicas of this intake for $300 (includes lower and upper plenum).
The truck intake plus BBK tb would put you out $850, for minimal gains. Albeit, it would be a simpler bolt on than modifying the truck to work with the 'stang setup.
