Belt rubbing on lower radiator hose?
AC/ PS belt rubbing on lower radiator hose. 1993 F 250 auto 460. Has had a motor rebuild. Motor mounts bad? or Bearing???

Might be the bottom radiator hose is on backwards. Swap it end for end & see if that doesen't help.

It actually rubbing right over the hose clamp. Seems to be some kind of cast aluminium "y" thing that it clamps onto. TB

Can you spin the clamp around?

It's not rubbing on the screw part of the clamp but a smooth surface of the band.

sounds like a bad motor mount if ya ask me thats about the only thing i know it could be do you know if they replaced the mounts when they pulled the motor ????
