2004X 6.0 PSD - sputtering - running rough - help pls
So I've absolutely had it with my dealership mechanic. 6 trips to the dealers in less than one month. Why can't they find the issue?
symptoms:
Generally running fine
-Will occasionally sputter and miss-fire sputtering all the way thru the mufflers.
-On occasionally start bucking real hard & won't let up until I I left off the accelerator
-On even rarer occasions, it will have ZERO power. The accelerator is pressed, but nothing is there the truck doesn't respond at all.
-These symptoms happen when the truck is cold or warm, it matters not.
The truck is used for a 30 mile highway commute, not loaded down & not pulling a trailer. Yeah not the best commuter, but it sure beats a mini-van
I'm to a point where I'm looking for something else, the MPG is killing me & my family stands to get hurt if this thing acts up in heavy traffic.
