one pice front glass

I just finished modifying my front doors to take the one pice glass. The first door took about six hours, mostly because I was unsure of what I was doing.Second door about two hours.I got the kit from midfiftys,it had good directions. Now all I have to do is finish the body work put the body back on the frame.paint do the interior.hook up all the wires, lines, and other goodies and I can take a ride.

Take some pictures and start a gallery, we would like to see your progress. Was it hard to bend the window channels.

The chanels came with the kit .I am not going with power. The cab is only 50 inches wide and I have way to much in this truck already.Vintage air takes away the need for rolling the windows down.

Did the channels come already formed to fit, I thought midfifty's kit came with 8 foot long channels that had to be formed to fit around the glass?

did you do the curved glass? see my gallery for the instructions as well.

The curved glass kit comes with a small section of channel to fit into the space where u remove the vent window. The felt is about 8 ft long and has to be formed to match.. not hard.
