Holley Electric Choke
1986 F250 460 4brl 4spd.
I replaced my stock Motorcraft 4-brl carb with a Holley 4150. Both have an electric choke. My new carb choke wire is connected to the same original power source, but the choke opens way too soon. Any ideas as to what the issue is?
Everything else is stock except for the timing gear set and air pumps are gone.

Well I thought so too and tried but ran out of adjustment. It makes me think maybe I need to replace the heat element in the choke body or something.
