Mirage? Alarm

Hello i just baught a 1994 ford f150 XL. the truck is immaculate. has a 300 big six and a 5speed 2wd. i got a deal i paid 1200. for it. anyway. the truck has a mirage alarm system. is this factory? the bos is under the dash and i see a toggle switch to turn it on and off and a push button switch that does nothing i can see. the horn doesnt blow either. any help guys?

no remote to go with it? if no id say the system is dead

obviously not factory.. did this gen even come with factory alarms?

My Dad's 94 that he had had a stupid alarm, that you had to press a button on a remote to start it up. I hated that stupid alarm.

i have a Ford alarm in my truck, but my dad hjad it installed, it was a special at an alarm shop around here. The fobs have the ford emblam and everything too... pretty good alarm. Now thhat i think of it i need to raise the sensitivity
