Please, HELP.
I ripped the transmission cooler lines out and burned up my tranny driving.
It's a Fordomatic 2 speed...it runs in low and reverses fine, but it won't shift into high gear. It only slips.
I got another transmission...a used one...for $250. I had to swap the front pump to fit the newer-model torque converter.
I've changed out the transmissions, but it still does the same old thing...is it the front pump that's doing this....or is this a common problem for Fordomatics?
I need to get it running. What's the quickest and easiest solution to my problem? Please, help.
Is the C-4 an easy swap? What do I need to make this happen?

It could be the pump, if it over heated then I would guess something warped or broke or both causing it not to produce enough pressure for High gear. I havent studied Ford - O - matics much at all but I think ill check them out this week and/or weekend.
