I think I remember Ford going exclusively to th 70 version sometime around '04 or '05. Crawl under the truck and take a look. The 100 is big and boxy looking while the 70 has a more traditional bell shape (also smaller).

I have been searching since first posting. Most of my search leads me to the 70, but still not clear. Looking at the transmission I would say that it is more bell shaped, not boxy. I will continue my search, as well as looking for some kind of ID on the tranny.
