Ford f250 build date

Hello all! Looking to find if my 77 F250 is a highboy or Lowboy! I have the VIN however ford has not made me happy as I have requested build sheets and had no success. Mid year 77 Ford switched from Highboy to Lowboy and I need a build date from the VIN. Does anyone have a decoder for 1977 or earlier? I have one for 78,on but that is no help. Thanks in advance.

The build date in your VIN# (last 6 digits) has to be before Y80,001 (April 1st1977) to be a highboy.

if your truck has only two leaf( negative arc ) springs packs in the front its a low-boyhigh-boys i believe had 5 leaf packs in the front
