Headlight replacement

what is the best,brightest replcement bulb for the headlights on a 2005 f250,an where can you get them,i think its a h13 bulb>

anywhere really- walmart, autozoo, oh-rye-lees, etc... They are 9008/h13. You should consider putting in some silverstars.

NO, the 2004 uses 9007 bulbs. There is also a harness for those, not only it increase voltage to the bulbs but also allows you keep the low beam on when you turn the high beam.

Thanks Defuser. Do I have to get a new harness or can I just replace the bulbs?

When I went to silverstars website they have like differnt type.

I prefer the Sylvania Xtravision bulbs. They have pretty much the same light output as the Sylvania Silverstars, but they don't have the blue coating to make the light seem more white. The white light tends to glare more at night. They are also usually cheaper.

I do recommend dfuser's upgraded wiring harness as it definitely made a noticeable improvement as well.
