Another wiper question

Has anyone tried using a vacuum canister to provide constant vacuum to the wipers? They are generally used for power brakes when running a high lift cam, but it seems like it should work

I am looking (will be anyway) for a 12V vacuum pump and reservoir for mine. The Y-block does not have enough vacuum at idle (around in town) for my power brakes.

The vacuum wipers on hills are no fun either.

Now...if I can just find a car or truck somewhere to get one off of. LOL

I had the same thought about that vacuum can. I have had a few 240 Volvo's and they operate the heater/ac vents with little actuators that use engine vacuum that is stored in a plastic container under the dash. there is a 1 way valve on the engine side of the container. might be a good way to store some vacuum for the wipers.
