Total Transformation ??

Anyone here besides me, ever hear this ad on talk radio ?

This guy is selling his wares called, "Total Transformation". He states that with his program, a parent can basically transform their disobedient, unruly, rebellious, mean spirited behaviour in their child to where their child is a blessing to have in the home....

If this is true, what methodology do you think he is using ? If childrearing can be made this easy, how did he keep this "secret" hidden from parents so long ? And if his "methods" do work, why didnt parents figure it out themselves a long time ago ?

I've heard the ads and am convinced that the system includes a baseball bat.

Either that or ritalin. Actually, I listen to mostly talk radio on my daily commute and those types of ads are quite prevalent. The ads for all the products sold on talk radio are quite intriguing. The marketing for those things is remarkable. I know that they are designed to make the seller money and that most of them won't work, but my curiosity is piqued by the promise of .... (fill in the blank).

my parents had it figured out. you screw up,mouth off,be disobedient, etc, etc, you got your *** beat!! didn't take long for us kids to figure out what was right or wrong. try that these days and you go to jail or get your kids taken away, and we wonder why kids these days are so mouthy and disrespectful

scamming, i seriously doubt there is a one fits all solution to someone's kid.

past the basics of parenting, everything is its own situation.

a leather belt works great, or maybe the branch off the weeping willow tree in the backyard (not that i would know!)
