I just bought a 2006 F150 and am going to get the front end leveled...I would like to keep the 17" rims that are already on it. Which tires look better, 285 70r 17 or the 295 70r 17.....The reason I ask is that it seems that there isn't much of a difference between the two sizes, but the 295's cost quite a bit more and limitation on what I can get......any input would be great.....thanks.....
There aren't a lot of company's out there that offer the 295, but the ones that do charge top dollar.
There isn't anything special to justify the extra cost.
I have a set of 265/70R17s, and they look pretty good, and I went with that size so I wouldn't take a drop in mileage, and they were cheaper.
The 285s would fill the wheel well a little more, and would be a good choice.
