You can view the engine in my 1996 F-150.

Click on my "Gallery", when it opens scroll down to the bottom and click on "engine" and you can see how clean and shinny I keep it.

Would love to see your engine, but when I click on the link I get a paratroopers web site: (http://home.hiwaay.net/~magro/parakorea.html). There is a menu at the bottom but I don't see "engine."

INLINE SIX POWER!
300 Cubic Inches of Low RPM Truck Torque! And twin-I-beams too!
"Drive a stick young man! There'll be time for automatics when you're old and unable."

Duh! I get it. Nice engine in the "Gallery." Hey, the website is cool too. I sent the paratroopers website link to a buddy who is a war history buff.

Thanks.

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 19-Jun-02 AT 00:50 AM (EST)]Oh- your gallery! I was about to stroke out!

Very nice engine. Is that a stock MAF? And what's with all the spiders?

Blue - Yes the entire engine is as stock as the day I drove it off the lot. The only thing I have added is the blue Jacobs 8mm lifetime plug wires.

As to the spiders - entomology (the study of insects and spiders) has been a hobby of mine. I like to photograph them. There are hundreds of thousands of insects and spiders for every human on earth. Thats a bunch.

Now I know what my 6 is supposed to look like..

I like the intake, it is a little different on my 88, it has two tubes, but I like the 96 better, one big tube with a y at the end... sweet..

Interesting. My '95 has two tubes. I wonder why they changed it.

I don't know, but I like the 96 version. You don't need a screw driver to get to your airfilter...

I see an extra sensor that I don't have, between the airfilter box and the intake... and what is the tinfoil in the background..

very nice to say the least though.
