After looking around and even experimenting a little. I found the factory setup the best. It swapped over easily and works perfectly. It requires adding one additional piece to the stock linkage and power to the switch. Dennis Carpenter carries the additional linkage arm seperately. I believe they also have the entire kit. Of course, if you can find it on a parts truck you won't need anything. Best of luck with the swap.
You might see: B7TB, B8TB, B9TB or C0TB-17508-AA stamped with black ink on the wiper motor. Those are the Ford engineering numbers. The actual part number won't be there.
up here on canadian oakville built trucks they appear to have been factory equipped with a bosch brand wiper motor.
of all of the 57-60 trucks i've bought and or stripped over the past 20 years (dozen or so) only 2 have had the electric wipers.
